General Post Guidelines

Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. Please take note of the following author’s/contributor’s and article guidelines.

As authors or contributors:

  1. You must have at least 3 years experience when writing about specific industry matters or at least can cite a research study done by a credible research institution or an industry expert to back up your claims.

  2. If you’re an author or a contributor of commentary or reflective articles you should write in a way that encourages critical thinking and contributes to the positive development of your readers.

  3. You must provide a short description of your personality or career in your Profile Setting. You must also include at least three links or sites where your readers can connect with you.

You can contribute any of the following article types:

  1. Academic – informative articles about specific subject matters relating to the industries and the academe. They must be written with great accuracy and explained in words that even a newbie or an apprentice will understand. Keep away from jargons or if you can’t avoid them, please provide detailed description.

  2. Tutorial – shows step-by-step instruction on how to do something and even provide information on how to do it better.

  3. Essays – expresses the author’s or contributor’s own feelings and opinions about important issues or subjects and are usually based on own experiences. It has the following sub-types:

    1. Commentary – opinions on latest issues or events. It’s a reactive essay.
    1. Reflective – realizations and learnings on important issues or life events.
    1. Travelogue – an account of a writer’s travel or trips in and out of the country.

Please keep in mind the following when writing your articles:

  1. Your articles must be written in 4 paragraphs max or in less than 500 words. Tutorials are the only exception.

  2. Media such as images, videos or audio files must be used appropriately. You can either submit your own media or contact the site administrator for assistance. Please observe copyright rules when using other people’s work.

  3. Your articles must be accurate and written in good faith.
